The Department of Sociology provides deep insight into human society, mutual relations between humans, how they build and change their world, and the significance of their organized settings. The department provides its students with profound knowledge in a wide variety of social issues related to culture, economics, and politics, all in consideration of both local and global processes. The topics covered in the department include social stratification and inequality; the military, society, and politics; the wars of Israel; Arab society; LGBT relations; the study of organizations, labor organizations and labor relations, poverty and welfare policy; family relations; social networks, etc.
Bachelor of Arts with a minimum grade point average of 82.
